John Lawrence Warden

John Lawrence Warden, 88, passed away Friday June 28, 2019. He was born September 12, 1930 in Yadkin County to the late Wesley Warden and Effie Steelman Warden. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Jennie Vee Collins Warden; daughter Judy Rebecca Warden; two sisters; five brothers. Surviving are a daughter Janet Faye Warden; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Sunday June 30, 2019 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Benny Adams. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Friends Cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center, Rev. Benny Adams and the congregation of Maranatha Baptist Church for the loving care given to Mr. Warden.
