Jonathan will always be remembered for his beautiful smile he always had on his handsome face. Jonathan didn't know a stranger and if you were lucky enough to know him, he treated you as if you were family. Growing up he was always the first to lend a helping hand, no matter how tough a job might have been. He was always a hard worker and was as strong as he was brave, and as sweet as he was kind. Jonathan had no fears in life and it was his dream to enlist in the Marine Corps. He would have been the definition of a true Marine, brave, strong, and loyal. Jonathan was a country boy through and through, from his cutoff tees down to his worn in boots. He loved the outdoors and everything about it. He loved to fish, swim, and go on any outdoor adventures. He loved his family more than anything, and would do anything he could for them. His heart was immeasurable and he loved all who loved him, unconditionally. He displayed true character and always did the right thing even if nobody was around to see it. He was an amazing brother! He was an example of who you could look up to and always depend on. Jonathan was such a bright light in this world. People were just drawn to him. He was always in a good mood, had a joke to tell, or a prank to play. His family takes comfort in knowing Jonathan loved the Lord, and was saved. He loved his church family. We will always remember Jonathan and will always cherish the time we had with him. He is someone who is unforgettable and his memory lives on in the lives of all he's touched. The world got a little darker the day he left us, and we will spend the rest of our lives waiting to see that signature smile once again. His family would like to express gratitude to everyone for all their prayers and condolences and all who donated to his GoFundMe. Due to government restrictions, a private graveside service will be conducted at White Rock United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Josh Jenkins. In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to Horizon Church. C/O Terry Wood, 204 Tannery Road, State Road, NC 28675. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Watson family.
