Joseph "Joe" H. Sheek, Jr.

Joseph “Joe” H. Sheek, Jr., 77, passed away Tuesday October 9, 2018. Joe was born August 10, 1941 in Yadkin County to the late Joseph Howard Sheek, Sr. and Pricilla Esther Owens Sheek. He was retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Surviving are his wife Gerrye Stone Sheek; a son Lane Sheek; grandchildren Trevor Albrecht, Jacob Sheek; a sister Dorothy Hutchens; his fur babies Lacy and Rusty. The family will receive friends from 11:00 -12:00 PM Saturday October 13, 2018 at Northwood Baptist Church. His funeral will follow the visitation at the church by the Dr. Allen Barker and Dr. Hubert Wishon. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of the ICU at Forsyth medical center and also the Therapy Group for the loving care given to Mr. Sheek.
