Yadkinville Judith P. Hodges. “Nana”, 65, of Yadkinville, North Carolina, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at her residence following a battle with cancer. Judy was born on December 10, 1953. She was a lifelong homemaker and devoted Mama to her daughter, son-in-law and grandsons. She is survived by her life partner for thirty years and love of her life, George Coleman and her daughter, Bobbi Ranae Moody-Sparks Reavis, son-in-law, George R. Reavis, and two cherished grandsons, Mackenzie G. Sparks and Jack H. Reavis, all of Yadkinville, NC. She has four surviving siblings, Willie Patrick of Bluefield, WV; Johnny Patrick (Callie) of Tiffin, OH; Barbara Sizemore (Rex Lusk) of Bluefield, WV; and Tammy Mullins (Clayton Hoke) of Union, WV; several loved nieces and nephews; and very special family friends Richard and Ann Crocker of Princeton, WV. Judy was the daughter of the late Edgar and Mary Patrick. In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by a daughter, Consuela Rose; her siblings: Eddie “Pete” Patrick, Carolyn “Sue” Lockhart, Danny R. Patrick, Larry Patrick, Sr., David “Wayne” Patrick, Deborah L. Patrick, and Jackie Mullins. Judy had decided to have her body cremated. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Yadkinville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jon Gaylord officiating. Family and friends may visit prior to the memorial service in the Family Life Center at Yadkinville United Methodist Church beginning at 1:00 pm until the service hour.
