Judy Hobson Campbell

Mrs. “Judy” Judith Hobson Campbell, 88, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025. She was born April 23, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Willie Herman Hobson and Nancy Genevia Mickles Hobson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Benton Willard; her second husband, Billy Theodore Campbell; her siblings, Thurman Hobson, Dorothy Hoots, Bobby Hobson, Hobert Hobson, Elvin Hobson, Johnny Hobson, and Peggy Williams. Mrs. Campbell enjoyed word search puzzles, sitting on her porch watching traffic, baking cakes, and when she was able, she loved yard work, especially mowing her lawn. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hobson, Coleen Sizemore, and Jane Parker; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Milsaps and Rev. JD Grasty officiating. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens. The family would like to say a very special thank you to Judy’s special neighbor Sarah Briscoe for being a great neighbor and the daily visits with Judy.
