Judy Brown Swaim

Jonesville Ms. Judy Darlene Brown Swaim, 71, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Ms. Swaim was born March 4, 1951 in Yadkin County to Ralph and Edith Roberts Brown. She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting and baking. In addition to her parents, Ms. Swaim was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Hunt; and her brother, Bobby Joe Brown. She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Swaim (Grady), and Alison Swaim; granddaughter, Olivia Thornton; a sister, Carol Wright; and brothers, Eddie (Jean) Brown and Earl (Cathy) Brown. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Wesley Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Charity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the church. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of WFBMC 4th Floor ICU and the staff at SECU Family House for the loving care to Ms. Swaim and her family.
