Kalen Michael Wilborn

Mr. Kalen Michael Wilborn, 25, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. He was born in Forsyth County on August 29, 1998. Kalen worked at Baity Tire and truly loved his job. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, especially changing out the speakers, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. Kalen especially loved “flowers”. He had a great heart and was so loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him.

He was preceded in death by his Papa Sandy Wilborn; great-grandparents, Mildred and Hubert Frye; and several other family members. Kalen is survived by his wife of 2 years, Ashley Posey Wilborn; father, Christopher “Chris” Michael Wilborn; Granny Brenda (Papa Gene) Gaither; mother and father-in-law, Rudy and Marcia Posey; brother-in-law, Alex Posey; sister-in-law, Abigail Posey; several brothers; and his beloved dog, Deebo.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Gentry Family Chapel in East Bend with Pastor Bill Messer, Pastor Dennis Shaw, Pastor Larry Trivette, and Pastor Tim Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Enon Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the funeral home. Gentry Family Funeral Service of East Bend is serving the Wilborn family.
