Katheryn Allen Steelman

Yadkinville Mrs. Katheryn Allen Steelman, 82, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Steelman was born September 2, 1936 in Davie County to Herman and Pansy Hauser Allen. She was a good cook and enjoyed crocheting. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Steelman was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Steelman; a son, Phillip Lee Steelman; and a brother, Norman “Buddy” Allen. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Jean Steelman; one grandchild, Jamie Steelman; two great grandchildren, Devin & Holly Steelman; two sisters, Patsy Poindexter and Brenda (Tommy) Baity; one brother, Elmer “Doodle” (Geraldine) Allen; and several nieces and nephews. Jean will receive friends at Katheryn’s house, Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00PM. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Steelman.
