She was born February 19, 1946 to the late James Fielden Osborne and Ellen Marie Honaker Osborne. Kathleen was a faithful supporter of White Plains Friends Church in Mt. Airy. Loving and caring for others was her ministry. She regularly went with Nelson for his pastoral visits to homes, hospitals. and nursing/assisted living facilities. Always exercising her gifts of encouragement, she never sought position but served quietly with a tender heart and ready smile. Her friendliness and sense of humor endured her to the congregation where they ministered in VA, IN and NC. “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21. Kathy gave her heart to Jesus at a young age and steadfastly served Him faithfully all of her life. She was a person of strong faith and prayer. She maintained a close relationship with Christ Jesus and was assured that she would spend eternity with Him. Her constant prayer was that her family and friends would meet her there. At Kathy request a service will be conducted at a later date. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kentucky Mountain Bible College 855 Hwy 541 Jackson, KY 41339.
