Kathryn Brown Shore

Yadkinville Mrs. Bertha Kathryn” Brown Shore, 87, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 at Willowbrook Health and Rehab. Mrs. Shore was born February 24, 1933 in Yadkin County to Buster and Fannie Brooks Brown. She was a member of Mtn. View Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening and cleaning. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shore was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Leroy Shore; a son, Vincent Brown; a great granddaughter, Emma Grace Brown; and four brothers, Dan, Jim, Mack, and Dallas Brown. She is survived by her son, Tim Brown; a granddaughter, Krystle Brown; a great grandson, Brayden Vestal; three sisters, Jane (Jerry) Wagoner, Pattie (Junior) Sebastian, and Shirley (Sam) Willard; and two brothers, Roger (Kathy) Brown and Joe (Helen) Brown. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Mtn. View Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Tim Tucker officiating. Mrs. Shore will be available for viewing Tuesday, June 2, from 12:00PM to 5:00PM and Wednesday, June 3, from 8:00AM to 12:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville.
