Kathy Lee Higgins Ford

Mrs. Kathy Lee Higgins Ford, 66, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024. She was born August 25, 1958 in Alleghany County to the late Albert Lee Higgins and Opal Wood Higgins. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bill Ford; son, Brad Higgins; step children, Darrell Ford, Darla (Benny) Howard, Billy (Tara) Ford; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Carol McKnight, Shirley (Dale) Hatcher, Loretta (Roland) Cash; brother, Allen Higgins; brothers-in-law, Bobby (Tommie) Ford, Donnie (Debbie) Ford. Mrs. Ford attended Fall Creek Baptist Church. She was retired from PVH. Kathy was an avid reader, she enjoyed working in the yard, going to car sales with Bill. She was well known for her excellent baking skill, as she made the best cakes and homemade bread, and she was a very giving person. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Fall Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. The family would like to give a special thank you to Kathy’s best friend Debbie Ford and Jennifer Pruitt for the love shown to Kathy and her family. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville is serving the Ford family.
