Necessary
Yadkinville- Mrs. Kathy Ayers Necessary, 67, formerly of Old US 421 Highway passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Avante Nursing Center in Wilkesboro. She was born October 19, 1950 in Knoxville, TN to the late James Frank Ayers and Ava Ayers Potter. Mrs. Necessary was a Registered Nurse (R.N.) with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for 19 years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Necessary. Surviving are her son, Zachary Lee Necessary, Pensacola, Fla.; sisters, Jimmy Ayers (Bob) Stimpson, Jayne Ayers (Stuart) Venters; brother, Stephen Frank (Terri) Ayers; a niece, Allyson Ayers; and several extended family and friends. A graveside service will be 3:00 PM Thursday. June 7, 2018 at Mountlawn Memorial Park in Wilkesboro, NC by the Rev. Ann Dieterle. In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests for those able to simply volunteer your time, either at your local nursing center, homeless shelter, or charitable organization, in an effort to help make a difference in the world in which we live. If unable to volunteer your time, a monetary memorial may be made to the Activity Fund of your local nursing center in memory of Mrs. Kathy Necessary. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Avante Nursing Home in Wilkesboro for the years of loving care and support given to Mrs. Necessary.
