Kay Bost Sapp-Dinkins

Hamptonville – Kay Bost Sapp-Dinkins, 87, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was born July 31, 1937 in Iredell County to the late John William Bost and Evelyn Witherspoon Bost. Kay is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Yadkinville. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Delano Dinkins; son, Richard Eugene Bost; brother, Nathan Eugene Bost. She is survived by her children, Nathan Wayne (Katherine) Sapp, Brian Keith (Kelly) Sapp, Sheila Sapp (Richard) Myers, Stephen Eugene Sapp; step-son, Michael (Lenora Combs) Dinkins; daughter-in-law, Mary Bost; grandchildren, Brandon Sapp, Kendria (Martin) Douglas, Nicholas Sapp, Kayla Martin, Sarah Bost, Emily (Kenny) McPherson, Matthew Bost; several great grandchildren; nieces, Libby (Larry) England, Belinda (Tim) Campbell. Her funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by the Rev. Hobert Freeman and the Rev. Brian Bradsher. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Memorials can be made to Mt.
