Jester Dobson --Miss Kelly Lynn Jester, 47, went to be with her Lord and Savior, and with her precious Daddy, Rev. Kenneth Jester. This Earth lost a precious Angel on Monday, April 24, 2017, but Heaven gained one. She was also predeceased by her grandparents, Mr. Herman and Wilsa Jester of East Bend, and by Mr. Henry and Roxie Speer of Dobson. Kelly was a one of a kind girl. She loved her Lord, her church, her family, and especially her two nephews and her niece. She would tell you really quick that she raised them all. Kelly was an avid Elvis Fan and went to many states and cruises to hear tribute artist Stephen Freeman perform. Kelly was born April 8, 1970 in Surry County to the late Rev. Kenneth Jester and Dean Speer Jester. Survivors include her beloved mother, Dean S. Jester, of the home; her 2 precious sisters, Mrs. Tracy (Lenny) Castro; Mrs. Melissa (Darrell) Merritt, all of Dobson; 2 special nephews, Will and Troy Castro of Dobson; a special niece, McKenna Merritt of Dobson; special aunt and uncle, Guy and Joyce Prim of Boonville; cousins, LuAnn Doss and girls, Taylor (Joseph) Vestal of Yadkinville, Brett (Ryan) Parks of Asheville, Becky (Sean) Vestal, Ryleigh and Maycie Vestal all of Pfafftown. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Dobson by Rev. Terry Coe, Rev. Bill Jenkins, Rev. Bobby Jenkins, Jr. and special prayers by Rev. Raleigh Burnette and Rev. Doug Cothren. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt.
