Kenneth Douglas Smith

Kenneth Douglas Smith Kenneth went home to be with the lord Aug 28th 2022. He was born in Yadkin County Dec 24 1965 to the late Wiley Douglas Smith and Caroyln Jean Carter Smith. He was preceded in death by one infant brother Timothy Dale Smith. Kenneth is survived by one brother Keith E. Smith (Angela); one nephew Tyler E. Smith (Miranda); one Great Nephew Fisher E. Smith; and one niece Nikki Lucas. Kenneth worked for several different Construction companies and was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. Kenneth had a great love for his family especially his great nephew. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles. Kenneth loved the simple way of life, and enjoyed listening to bluegrass music. Kenneth had requested that he be laid to rest in his bibbed overalls and funeral be done with a casual dress code. A funeral service will be held at 1:30PM, Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Forbush Baptist Church with Pastor Rocky Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30PM prior to the service at the church. We would like to thank the staff at Hands of Hope Medical Clinic for all they have done.
