Kenneth Gray White

White Yadkinville – Kenneth Gray White, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 23, 2017. He was born December 7, 1935 to the late Albert Otto White and Josephine Groce White.  Kenneth loved his family well, and especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy White.  Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Jo Ella Comer White; daughters, Sonja (Terry) Steelman and Donna (Sammy) Moore; grandchildren, Samantha (Johnny) Shore, Stefanie (Gary) Kuhn, Rebekah (Jon) Vermeer, Seth (Charleigh) Steelman, Hannah Moore, and Caleb Steelman; great grandchildren, Joshua, Emma, and Raelyn Shore, Lynlee and Kolton Kuhn, and Jason Vermeer; and brother, Gary (Carolyn) White.  His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church by Dr. Phil Beavers and the Rev. Chris Hauser.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  The family would like to thank SECU Hospice Care Center for all the love and care shown to Kenneth.  Memorials can be made to South Oak Ridge Baptist Church Youth, 1336 Lone Hickory Road, Yadkinville, NC  27055.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the White family.  Online condolences can be made at www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
