Leon "Hoss" Edward Lineberry

Mr. Leon "Hoss" Edward Lineberry, 66, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024. He was born November 14, 1957, in Yadkin County to the late Harvey Odell Lineberry and Bevie Holt Lineberry. Mr. Lineberry enjoyed going to car shows, cooking out, and he especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a very loving father, grandfather and friend. Leon never knew a stranger and would always go out of his way to help anyone he could. His friends lovingly referred to him as "Hoss" and he was loved by all who had the privilege to know him. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta Neely Lineberry; a son, Travis Lineberry; brothers, Roger Lineberry, James Lineberry. He is survived by his children, Dustin (Samantha) Lineberry, Wendy Lineberry, Jackie Lee Lineberry; grandchildren, Taylor Lineberry, Marietta “Harper” Lineberry, Autumn Garza, Gray McCormick, Bella Caudle; sister, Rebecca (Charles) Lineberry Spicer; brothers, Tom (Lisa) Lineberry, Robert “Jabo” Lineberry, Ricky (Jennifer) Lineberry. 

The family will receive friends, Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:30 PM at Boonville Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Lineberry family.
