Leonard Martin Bobbitt

Yadkinville Mr. Leonard Martin Bobbitt, 72, of Yadkinville passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017. He was born on March 10, 1945 in Galax, Va. to the late Edgar Emmitt and Olive Gertrude Beck Bobbitt. Mr. Bobbit was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Mac Bobbitt. He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Hylton Bobbitt, a son, Dwayne Bobbitt and fiancee’ Rebecca Sagan, a daughter, Tina (Ronald) Wagoner, three grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Bobbitt, Ayden Campbell Gardner, and Ayda Laura Kay Wagoner. His funeral service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. John Bowman and Rev. George Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Peace Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Thursday prior to the funeral service.
