Lillian B. Wagoner

Lillian B. Wagoner, 91, passed away October 2, 2021. She was born April 24, 1930 in Yadkin County to the late Will and Julie Collins Wagoner. Mrs. Wagoner retired from Hanes Hosiery after 40 years of service. After retirement, she was an avid gardener growing and tending several varieties of flowers in her yard. Her flowers were often used in floral arrangements by family and neighbors. Mrs. Wagoner was preceded in death by her first husband Leo Bryant; her second husband Thomas Wagoner; sister Lucille Stone; brothers Richard Wagoner and Harvey Wagoner. Surviving are her children Shelia Adams, Janet (Robert) Baity; grandchildren Rodney (Tina) Jester, Keith Jester, Josh (Kimberly) Baity, Jordan (John David) Williams, Julia (Christopher) Johnson; several great grandchildren; and a sister Irene Tucker. The family will receive friends at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 4:30 PM till 5:30 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 5:30 PM following the visitation at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Link and Josh Baity officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Church cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice and Palliative Care SECU Care Center 243 N Lee Ave, Yadkinville NC 27055.
