Linda Dixon Daye

Boonville – Linda Gail Dixon Daye, 70, passed away Tuesday, January 14.  She was born March 23, 1949 in Surry County to William Ray Dixon and Dorothy Dinkins Dixon.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Dixon.  Surviving is her husband, David “Steve” Daye; son, Chris (Sandra) Daye; mother, Dorothy Dixon; grandchildren, Savannah (Jonathan) Williams, Brianna (Scott) Milholand; great grandchildren, Vaida Williams, and Walker Williams.  Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2020 at Charity Baptist Church by the Rev. Marty Nixon.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at Charity Baptist Church.  Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Daye family.
