Linda Brown Driver

Linda Jean Brown Driver, age 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born July 11, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Howard Melmoth Brown and Edith Mae Riley Brown. She was a charter member of Marler Road Baptist Church. Linda enjoyed cooking and dearly loved spending time with her family. She was an inspiration and Godly influence on a lot of her family and others who dearly loved her. She is survived by her children Karen Eads (Gary), Ronald Driver (Shelia), and Martha Hill (Phillip); grandson Noah Hill; sisters Kay Brown (Randy), Ella Shaw (Brent), and Patty Comer (Mickey); special aunt Louise Shore; special friends Carrie, Betty, and Earlene. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Marler Road Baptist Church. Her funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM following the visitation with Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of SECU Hospice Home for the loving care shown to Linda and her family.
