Boonville-  Mrs. Linda Holcomb Hutson, 67, passed away peacefully Monday, January 1, 2018 after a battle with Alzheimers Disease.  She was born April 18, 1950 in Yadkin County to the late Crate and Thelma Burcham Holcomb.  Mrs. Hutson worked as a C.N.A. and loved caring for others.  Her joy were her children and grandchildren.  Mrs. Hutson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hutson.  Surviving are her son Michael Dale Holcomb, and wife, Crystal; her daughter, Retha Lynn; grandchildren, Ayla Holcomb, Austin Holcomb, and Billy; step-grandchildren, Heather Ingool, Blaine Casstevens; sisters, Carrie Ann (Fred) Swaim; brothers, Donald Holcomb, David Holcomb, J.W. (Daphne) Holcomb; special sisters-in-law, Shirley (Jerry) Murphy and Treva Cothren.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00PM Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM Thursday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev.
