Linda Kiger Mason

Hamptonville Mrs. Linda Faye Kiger Mason, 77, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at SECU Hospice Care Center. Mrs. Mason was born February 10, 1945 in Forsyth County to Lewis and Mary Jane Hester Kiger. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Dale Mason; and six siblings. She is survived by her children, Shelia (Ricky) Roberts, Sherrie Rhodes (Kenny), David (Marilyn) Outen, Andy Outen, and Jamie (Renee) Outen; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Kiger; and a K-9 companion, Chula. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00AM, Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Yadkin Memorial Gardens with Pastor Eugene Kiger officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, 1427 Edgewood Drive Suite 101 Mt. Airy, NC 27030 or New Horizons, 1917 Old Hwy 421 W Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice and Tammy Cook with New Horizons for the loving care given to Mrs. Mason.
