Lisha Dalton Trivette

Hamptonville Mrs. Lisha Sue Dalton Trivette, 59, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Trivette was born March 13, 1960 in Montgomery County, VA to Wayman Luther Dalton and Virginia Rea York. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, cross stitch, quilting, reading, traveling, and spoiling her grandchildren. Mrs. Trivette was preceded in death by her mother. In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Sidney Gilmer Trivette; four children, Michael (Melissa) Trivette, Sid (Rachel) Trivette, Karen Trivette, and Bobby Trivette; three step children, Elaine (Scott) Munday, Rebecca Cranfill, and Sue (Kemp) Tobin; grandchildren, Wesley, Aubrey, Oliver, Todd, Rosie, Abby, and Lucy Trivette, Zack (Laura) Phillips, Andrew & Owen Munday, and Nick Tobin; sisters, Cindy Dalton, Carolyn (Michael) Shockley, and Bonnie Collins; two brothers, Kennedy (Angela) Dalton and Tommy (Samantha) Dalton; sister-in-law, Clara Dale (Jimmy) Madison; brothers-in-law, Dewitt Trivette (Brenda), Bill (Edith) Trivette, and David (Joyce) Trivette; special nieces, Dana Puckett, Jennifer Bowman, and Kim Crews; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00PM, Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00PM prior to the church. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of WFBMC ICU Cancer Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Trivette.
