Lonnie Lee Jessup

Lonnie Lee Jessup, 78, passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Surry County, NC on June 4, 1942 son of the late Carl Olen Jessup and Evelyn Brown Jessup. Lonnie retired from Virginia Department Of Transportation and was a member of Forbush Friends Meeting. Surviving is his loving wife; Paulette Wilson Jessup of 57 years, brother Dennis Jessup (Martha) of Yadkinville, children Kelly Jessup Moon of Greenville, SC, Lee Jessup (Denise) of Kernersville, granddaughters Abbie and Olivia Jessup of Kernersville, grandsons Elijah Moon of Raleigh, NC and Quentin Moon of Indianapolis, IN, and two nephews, Brian Jessup of Florida and Christopher Jessup of Lewisville and one great niece, Brianna Jessup of Florida. He was a dedicated Father and Grandfather. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
