Lorene Smitherman Lineberry

Lorene Smitherman Lineberry, 89, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019, at Winston-Salem Nursing Center. She was born in Yadkin County, NC on June 11, 1929; daughter of the late Fred Smitherman and Pearl Octavia Hobson Smitherman and was the widow of Ervin William Lineberry, Sr. and was a member of Baltimore United Methodist Church. She loved sitting with the elderly in the community, sewing, quilting, and doing yard art. A graveside celebration of Life service will be conducted on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Baltimore United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chad Shoaf officiating. The family will receive friends after service. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Survivors include her children; Ervin William “Curley” Lineberry, Jr. (Joy), Shirley Lineberry Hill and Shelby Lineberry Wiedenhoft, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great - great - grandchild. She was preceded in death other than her parents and husband are two sisters, Doris Smitherman and Bertrice Hoots and a brother, Tink Smitherman.
