Loretta Wood Pack

Pack State Road – Sara Loretta Wood Pack, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.   She was born May 13, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Charles Lloyd Wood and Eva Mae Wishon Wood.  Loretta lost her battle, but our lose was Heaven’s gain and now she is walking the streets of gold. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Luffman; brothers, Kenneth Lloyd Wood, Donald Lee Wood.  Surviving are her children, Eva (Daniel) Baker, William Wade (Leah) Pack Jr.; grandchildren, Danny (Amanda) Baker, Alex (Aimee) Baker, Darrell (Jenn) Baker, Dustin Baker, Avery Baker, Eli Baker, Charlie Pack, Joey Pack; great grandchildren, Aiden Baker, Kaitlyn Baker, Leah Baker, Abigail Baker, Lana Baker, Ashley Baker, Josh Baker.  Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by brother Ricky McCollum and brother Lawrence Warden.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Pack family.  The family would like to send a special thanks and prayers to the Doctors and Nurses at Forsyth Medical Center on the 5th floor CICU.
