Louise Southard Trivette

Mocksville Mrs. Nancy Louise Southard Trivette, 80, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by her family. Mrs. Trivette was born February 24, 1940 in Yadkin County to Clarence Conway and Dora Vanhoy Southard. She was a member of Northwood Baptist Church and dearly loved her church family. She retired from Hanes Hosiery after many years of service. Mrs. Trivette enjoyed watching gameshows and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trivette was preceded in death by her husband, Burton “BL” Lester Trivette; a sister, Margaret Lauer; and a brother, Harvey Southard. She is survived by a son, Chris (Candy) Trivette; a step son, Keith (Jill) Trivette; grandchildren, Kristen, Jason (Haley), Michael, Janie and Brandon Trivette; a great granddaughter, Lacey Mae Trivette; and a brother, Harold (Ethel) Southard; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Northwood Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Barker and Rev. Tim Webb officiating and will be available for viewing through live streaming on Northwood’s Facebook page. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Trivette will be available for public viewing Friday, Feb. 12th from 8:00 to 5:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentry Funeral Service to assist the family with the funeral expenses. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Trivette family.
