Lowell "Toby" Allen Shore

Hamptonville Mr. Lowell “Toby” Allen Shore, 71, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. Mr. Shore was born June 25, 1946 in Surry County to the late Calvin Rufus and Pauline Vestal Shore. He enjoyed collecting old tractors, gardening and spending time with his family. Mr. Shore attended West Yadkin Baptist Church. Mr. Shore is survived by one son, John Paul (Robyn) Wilmoth; one grandson, Mitchell Wilmoth; two sisters, Norene (Ronnie) Vanhoy and Margaret (Ralph) Prevette; two nieces, Alisa Vanhoy and Julie Hopkins; four nephews, Eddie Prevette, Danny Prevette, Adam Vanhoy, and James Vanhoy; and great nephews and nieces, Ben, Annika, Austin, Madisyn, Alexis, Amelia, Claire, Ella, Ruby, and Brynlee. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at West Yadkin Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Odom officiating. Burial will follow at Longtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267 Yadkinville, NC 27055.
