Lucille Blackburn Flynt

Lucille Blackburn Flynt, 97, passed away Friday August 10, 2018. She was born April 5, 1921 in Forsyth County to the late William Rowan Blackburn and Dovie Richardson Blackburn. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mable Tilley; brother Rev. Frances Blackburn; son-in-law Evan Hemric, Jr. Surviving are her children Jane (Don) Linville, Harry (Sue) Flynt, Jr., Carol Hemric; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; two sisters Ruth Reid, Nina Martin. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday August 13, 2018 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 PM Monday at Center Memorial Cemetery by Rev. Cecil Cave and Rev. Randy Johnson. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and the staff at Magnolias on the Yadkin for the loving care given to Mrs. Flynt.
