Lucille Collins Macemore

Jonesville Mrs. Lucille Collins Macemore, 92, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Macemore was born February 14, 1930 in Stokes County to Jonah and Hannah Brown Collins. She enjoyed reading, doing word searches and watching the Christian TV channel. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Macemore was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest William Macemore; sisters, Linda Collins, Lilla Mae Poplin, and Vernell Billings; and a brother, Rufus “Boe” Collins. She is survived by three children, Sandra (Ray) Randleman, Debbie Massei, and Barry Macemore; grandchildren, Shaunda Randleman, Ramsey Oraha, Brandy Stewart, and Jason Macemore; great grandchildren, Dalton Macemore and Gabriel Harford; two sisters, Betty Jean Stanley and Gladys Collins; a brother, Junior Collins; a special friend, Jessie Marshall; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Friday, April 8, 2022 at Fall Creek Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Atirum Health ICU and the staff of Hugh Chatham Hospital for the loving care given to Mrs. Macemore.
