Luther Gayle Shore

Luther Gayle Shore, age 70, passed away May 15, 2020. He was born on March 7, 1950 in Iredell County to the late Lester and Nora Shore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Colton Hart; son-in-law, Tony Wood; sisters, Carol Shore, Joann Shaffner, Dorothy Shore; brothers, Wayne Shore, and Kenneth Shore. He is survived by his children, Melissa Wood, Shane (Danielle) Shore, Jessica (Scotty) Riffe; grandchildren, Kendall Wood, Brittany Wood, Evan Shore, Blake Sharpe, Gage Riffe, Cainan Riffe; sisters, Betty Reece, Joan Hinson, Brenda (Preston) Stringer, Donna (Jr.) Goforth; brother Charles Shore. Due to the governmental temporary restrictions, there will be a private graveside service at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Randy Johnson officiating.
