Evalene Blevins Welborn

Mrs. Mae Evalene Blevins Welborn, 84, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024. She was born September 18, 1939 in Yadkin County to the late Luther Alexander Blevins and Beulah Virginia Sharpe Blevins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlen Leverne Welborn; son, Richard Arlen Welborn; grandsons, David Luther Jr., Jonathan Andrew Welborn, Rusty Shawn Welborn; great-grandsons, Darrion Wayne Luther, Devin Wayne Luther; her brothers, Kenneth Blevins, Norris Blevins, Oddie Blevins, Buddy Blevins. Mrs. Welborn enjoyed talking on the phone, especially to her family and she loved word search books. She is survived by her children, Anita Williams, Tim (Tracy) Welborn; grandchildren, Danielle Williams, Tim (Mae) Welborn Jr.; great-grandchildren, Abby Welborn, Nicholas Welborn, Emma Welborn, Sawyer Welborn, Murphy Jane Welborn; and her sister, June Flynt. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jim Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville is serving the Welborn family.
