Mamie "Alice" Harris Marsh

Mamie “Alice” Harris Marsh, 95, passed away Wednesday May 23, 2018. She was born January 26, 1923 in Surry County to the late Willie Harris and Lillie Nixon Harris. Mrs. Marsh was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thomas Shepard Marsh; four sisters Alma Lee Marshall, Mary Harris, Martha Nixon and Edna Harris. Surviving are four daughters Donna Isaacs, Patricia (Larry) Macemore, Tommye (Terry) Cheek, Vicky (Dennis) Collins; grandchildren Dean (Jenanna) Cheek, Tammy Barrett, Johnny (Paula) Isaacs, Shane Collins; great grandchildren Riley Cheek, McKenze Cheek, DJ Cheek, Brittany Isaacs Sean Condron, Josh Condron. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday May 25, 2018 at Mountain Park Cemetery by Rev. Bobby Prevette. In lieu of flowers make memorials to Mountain Park Cemetery Fund c/o James Nixon 123 Liberty School Rd. State Road, NC 28676 or SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin 243 North Lee Avenue Yadkinville, NC 27055.
