Margaret Olena Dinkins Brown

Margaret Olena Dinkins Brown, 90, passed away Monday May 29, 2017. She was born August 6, 1926 in Yadkin County to the late Benjamin Harrison Dinkins and Epsia Caroline Sizemore Dinkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Alexander Brown. Surviving are a daughter Terry (John) Stewart; a son Ed Brown; grandchildren Emily Stewart (Allan) Rourke, Robyn Stewart (Rob) Merrill, John Travis Stewart, Cynda Ashley Brown (Andrew) Fogleman; great grandchildren Gracie Tyler Rourke, Amalie June Rourke, Wylie Vaughn Rourke, Addison Lee Merrill, Amelia Marie Lynn Merrill; brother Benjamin Harrison (Scottie) Dinkins, Jr. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday June 3, 2017 at Shacktown Church of Christ by Rev. Stephen Evans. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice, Dr. James McGrath, also Brad and Karen Dinkins for the loving care given to Mrs. Brown.
