Margaret Cheek Shore

Shore Hamptonville – Margaret Cheek Shore, 85, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018. She was born July 27, 1933 in Yadkin County to the late Dolphus and Oma Groce Cheek.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, W.T.  Shore;  sister, Inez Waddell; brother, Bill Cheek.  Surviving are her children, Jeff (Wanda) Shore, Joey (Tammie) Shore, Cindy (Chris) McCollum, Rodney Shore; grandchildren, Emily (Chris Hutchens) Shore, Ashley (Robby) Blackburn, Jake Shore, Molly McCollum, Carson McCollum, Kelsey Shore; great grandchildren, Halen, Charley, Taitley, Witten, Lucy; sisters, Lois Cheek, Athlene (Paul) Fulton; brother, J.W. (Frankie) Cheek; and several nieces and nephews.  Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Union Baptist Church by the Rev.
