Margaret Wiedenhoft Whitaker

Margaret Valeria Wiedenhoft Whitaker, 78, died Monday, October 31, 2022 at her home. She was born in in Wayne County, Michigan on September 12, 1944 to Herman John and Mary Ann Harshman Wiedenhoft. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Bill Wiedenhoft, and a longtime friend Larry Campbell. Margaret was a retired mail carrier in Yadkinville and was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving are a son, Gene Whitaker; Grandchildren, Tony Whitaker and Austin (Dominic) Whitaker; Great-grandchildren, Zander Whitaker and Mazekein Whitaker; sisters, Tammy (Scott) Hicks and Sue Driver; and brothers, John (Dottie) Wiedenhoft and Tim (Diane) Vestal. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 11:00AM at Gentry Funeral Chapel will Rev. Will Hamric officiating.
