Marie Howard Welborn

Welborn Hamptonville – Ruby “Marie” Howard Welborn, 92, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. She was born April 9, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late Clarence McKinley Howard and Ruth Bailey Howard.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Coy Edward Welborn;  sisters, Naomi McGuire, Juanita Swaim, Sue Welborn, Grace Howard; brother, Dwight “Bud” Howard.  Surviving are her sons, Ed (Peggy Hagood) Welborn, Toby (Susan) Welborn; grandchildren, Jena (Casey) Wilmoth, Elizabeth Anne (Ryan) Richardson, Wendell (Mandy) Jenkins, Meagan H. Welborn; great grandchildren, Brooks Robert Richardson, Lucy Anne Richardson, Allie Jenkins, Isiah Jenkins; sister, Betty Calloway; and several loving nieces and nephews.  Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Union Baptist Church by the Rev.
