Mark Allan Brown, Sr., 59, went home to be with the Lord on Monday January 29, 2018. Mr. Brown was born July 27, 1958 in Yadkin County to Lonnie “Dickie” Brown and Vergie Joyner Brown. Mark was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church where he was a Deacon, teacher in junior church and also sang in the choir. Surviving are his wife Judy Sands Brown; two children Mark Allan (Jennifer) Brown, Jr., Melody Ann (Glenn Jr.) Chipley; grandchildren Jamie Gregory, Jr., Olivia (Conner) McLean, Logan Brown, Micaiah McKeown, Bianca Clemens, Trystn Chipley; great grandchildren Gideon Mclean, Kinsley Gregory; one sister Karen Dillon. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Peace Haven Baptist Church. His funeral will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the church by Dr. Jon Bowman, Rev. George Evans, and Rev. Mark Lenderman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
