Marsha Holt Russell

East Bend Mrs. Marsha Denise Holt Russell, 57, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Russell was born January 10, 1960 in Yadkin County to Wayne Holt and Shelba Holt Frye. Marsha enjoyed being at the beach, reading, listening to beach music, and most of all, spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church.   Marsha was preceded in death by her father. In addition to her mother and step father Houston Frye, she is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Mark Russell; three children, Heather (Jason) Sanger, Kyle (Danyale) Russell, and Kurt Russell; two grandsons, Dallas & Konnor Russell; a sister, Cassandra (Brent) Davis; and a brother-in-law, Keith (Kim) Russell. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00PM, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church Family Life Center with Rev. Will Hamric officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00PM prior to the service in the Family Life Center. Marsha loved wearing her flip flops and the family would love for you to wear your favorite pair to the service in honor of her. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond Hill Baptist Church, Bags of Love, 2205 Richmond Hill Church Road, Boonville NC 27011.
