Boonville-  Mr. Marshall Franklin Casstevens, 75, of Center Road passed away peacefully Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 6, 1945 in Surry County to the late Sidney Frank and Mary Ethel Holcomb Casstevens.  Mr. Casstevens worked for several years with Chatham Manufacturing, Unifi, and recently with Kewaunee of Statesville.  He was a member of Northwood Baptist Church, loved music, working outside, and was a self-taught piano and guitar player.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Emma Casstevens, a sister, Kay Stinson; and 2 brothers, Gordon and Kent Casstevens.  Surviving are his sons, Jacob Casstevens, Samuel Casstevens, Nathan Casstevens, Joshua Casstevens; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Kenerly; and his sister, Johnsie (Tom) Fletcher of Boonville.  A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Northwood Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Tim Webb.  Mr. Casstevens will be available for public viewing from 8-5 on Friday and 8-1 on Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.  Online condolences may be made to www.gentryfuneralservice.com.
