Martha Gunter Stanley

Martha Lee Gunter Stanley, age 85, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019. She was born September 29, 1933 in Yadkin County to the late Clifton Lee Gunter and Daisy Marie Baity Gunter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Harold Stanley; sons Harold Ray Stanley, Randy Autrey Stanley; brothers Wiley Gunter, L.C. Gunter; sisters Margaret Allen, Doris Trivette. She is survived by children Diane Motley, Kaye Tucker (Jimmie) , Wanda Barneycastle, Ricky Stanley (Robin); daughter-in-law Louann Stanley; grandchildren Danny Ray Watts (Heidi), Tammy Lynn Smith, Amy Michelle Nichols, Rena Shinault King (Scott), Kevin Barneycastle (Shannon), Melissa George (Eddie), Susan Stanley, Adam Stanley, Krista Williamson (Thomas), Terry Frye (Natalie), Carlie Snyder (Phillip), Randy Stanley Jr. and wife, Jason Stanley and wife, Brandon Stanley and wife, Brandie Stanley, Matthew Stanley, Shawn Cockerham (Robin), Heather Cockerham; several great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren  The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Turner’s Creek Baptist Church. Her funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Turner’s Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
