Marthalene Lineberry Brannon

Ms. Marthalene Lineberry Brannon, 81, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025. She was born May 19, 1943 to the late Charlie Pet Lineberry and Ola Mae Taylor Lineberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Ray Lineberry; and the father of her children, Gary Lee Brannon. Mrs. Brannon retired from RJ Reynolds with over 30 years. Marthalene enjoyed reading, playing bingo, watching old westerns, and she loved puzzles and word search. She is survived by her sons, Garren M. Brannon (Scot Blevins), Michael D. Brannon (Donna S. Brannon), Gavin S. Brannon; grandchildren, Hagen Riley Brannon, Kylie Grace Brannon; her brothers, Charles Lee Lineberry, Larry Worth Lineberry, Curnie Carol Lineberry (Janet). The family will receive friends, Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Mrs. Brannon’s funeral service will be Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 9:00 AM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Monty Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Willowbrook Care Center for the loving care and friendship shown to Marthalene. Flowers are welcomed as Marthalene loved her flowers and delivers can be made at the funeral home or memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice 243 N. Lee Ave., Yadkinville, NC 27055. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Brannon family.
