Powell East Bend-Mr. Marty Allen Powell, 60, 0f East Bend, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home. He was born in Forsyth County on September 25, 1961 to Henry Martin and Carol Matthews Powell. Marty was a talented artist and loved to paint. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Matthews Powell. Surviving are his father, Henry Martin Powell; a sister, Marnie Powell; and special cousins, Mitzi (Jeff) Hutchens, Fonda (Dennis) Sandwick, and Penny (Michael) Spainhour.
