Mary Cave Wilkins

Mrs. Mary Cave Wilkins, 83, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024. Mrs. Wilkins was born February 5, 1941 in Yadkin County to the late Floyd and Linda Hobson Cave. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Glen Joseph Wilkins; a son, Dean Wilkins; and four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Wilkins loved shopping, and she enjoyed decorating her home for each holiday. She was a kind, Christian lady, and she was very giving and generous. She is survived by her son, Chad Wilkins; three grandchildren, Latasha Wilkins, Zoie Wilkins, and Blake Wilkins; and her sister, Linda Blevins. The family will receive friends Monday, September 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with Dr. Allen Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Boonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boonville Share-A-Home, 2800 Woodruff Rd., Boonville, NC 27011. The family would like to thank Mrs. Wilkins special caregivers, Frankie Morrison, Pam Casstevens, Molly Glenn, and Sue Hudson for the loving care shown to Mary.
