Mary Willard Duncan

JonesvilleMrs. Mary Elizabeth Willard Duncan, 90, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Duncan was born November 1, 1928 in Yadkin County to Kengyon and Hallie Adams Willard. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, embroidery and quilting. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Haywood Duncan; two sisters, an infant and Mozelle Benton; and four brothers, Calvin Willard, Herbert Willard, Sanford Willard, and Earl Adams. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Monday March 18, 2019 at Deep Creek Friends Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30PM, prior to the service at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice, Ashley Lester, Shelby Reece and Heather Smith for the loving care given to Mrs. Duncan. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Duncan family.
