Mary Faye McEwen Hobson

Mary Faye McEwen Hobson, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022. She was born in Yadkin County to the late Stanley Steelman McEwen and Mary Lena Trivette McEwen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Locksley Hobson; two sisters Sherlie Renegar, Mattie Renegar; two brothers Russell McEwen, and Jesse McEwen. Surviving are her children Johnna (William) Marshall, Dee (David) Hege, Mitzi (Dale) Cooper, Holly (Wayne) Dzeskewicz; grandchildren Alicia Manning, Bailey Dzeskewicz, Nathan Dzeskewicz, Chloe Dzeskewicz; brothers J. C. McEwen, Price McEwen. Her funeral will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Liberty Baptist Church by Rev. Marvin Blackburn and Rev. Noel Hawks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Clemmons Village II and Trellis Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Hobson. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the donor’s choice or to Liberty Baptist Church 2433 Liberty Church Road Mocksville, NC 27028 c/o Chris Chilton.
