Thomasville-  Mrs. Mary Frances Owens Hutchens, 75, of Pineywood Road and formerly of Yadkinville, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Hospice Home of the Piedmont in High Point.  She was born May 7, 1944 in Surry County to the late Rufus Moir and Mable Jane Mayes Owens.  Mrs. Hutchens was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker to her family.  She was also a member of Allendale Baptist Church in High Point.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Hutchens; her son, Lester Paul Hutchens; her grandchild, Jessica Gilliam; and brothers, Jessie J. Owens, Boyd Owens; and her sisters, Katherine Snyder, Georgia Stanley.  Surviving are her son, Nelson Hutchens; granddaughter, Crystal Conner; Sisters, Peggy (Louis) Boone, Brenda Owenby; brother, Paul (Katherine) Owens; and several nieces and nephews.  Pallbearers for the service will be David Owens, Jeff Boone, Danny Owens, Louis Boone, Steven Dyson, and Dustin Harris.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Gentry Family Funeral Service on US Highway 601 North in Yadkinville.  Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev.
