Mary Elizabeth Fox Pierce

Mary Elizabeth Fox Pierce, 58, passed away Tuesday October 3, 2017. She was born August 22, 1959 in Surry County to the late Cleveland Kelly and Jennie Hutchens Fox. Mary loved to watch Duke Basketball and she loved Coach K. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law, Charlie Stewart. Surviving are her husband Mark Pierce; children Melanie (Nathan) Hubbard, C. C. (Maddie) Fox, William (Kari) Fox; grandchildren Brayden Hubbard, Elijah Fox, Addie Fox, Natalee Fox; sisters Ethel Stewart, Charlene Bernasek; brothers Bobby Hutchens and Thomas Fox. There will be a private graveside service for family only. The family would like to say a very special thank you to Dr. Kinsley and the staff of Woltz Hospice Home for the loving care given to Mrs. Pierce.
