Mary Murphy Vestal

Yadkinville Mrs. Mary Jane Murphy Vestal, 69, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Vestal was born July 13, 1949 in Yadkin County to Walter and Stella Poindexter Murphy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Vestal was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Murphy. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Dennis Ralph Vestal; four children, Brian (Linda) Cleary, Melissa (Joseph) MacMenamin, Barry Cleary (Audrey Meade) and Amanda Cleary (Travis Ledbetter); four step children; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Kay (Wayne) Cleary. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00PM, Monday, August 6, 2018 at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Charles Reed, Rev. Darlene Reed, and Dennis Vestal officiating. Burial will follow at Courtney Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Vestal.
